Following up the recent release of one of the most well-reviewed games of 2012 (ours included), Sine Mora, Digital Reality is pleased to announce that its classic real-time strategy title, Imperium Galactica II: Alliances, is available now on the Apple iPad.
Imperium Galactica II: Alliances is a real-time strategy title set in space that combines features from RTT, RTS and empire-building genres. Gameplay involves managing colonies, expanding one’s empire, conquering enemy planets, researching, diplomacy with other races, spying, space battles, ground battles and more. In the non-linear storyline, players can select one of three factions (The Kra’hen Empire, The Shinari Republic, or The Solarian Federation), each with their own unique advantages and objectives in their respective campaigns. In addition, players can select one of eight unique player races, with their own home planet, capital ship and technological advantages.
“The Imperium Galacitca franchise is arguably our best known series of games to date, as many dedicated computer gamers fondly remember logging in hundreds of hours in an effort to dominate the galaxy,” said Balázs Horváth, director of publishing for Digital Reality. “Now, as PCs have advanced exponentially in terms of graphical firepower, it’s great to bring a beloved game to an entirely new audience and a platform that can support it – we have done just that by porting Imperium Galactica II over to the iPad, and we can’t wait for newbies and veterans alike to get their hands on it.”
Imperium Galactica II: Alliances gives you total control over a huge and incredibly detailed galaxy. Discover new planets and colonize them – or conquer them. Govern your people on stunningly detailed 3-D planet surfaces. Open diplomatic channels with new, odd alien races, or order your spies to infiltrate the alien governments and steal their secret technology.
