Today, Ubisoft and Nadeo announced the opening of the beta registration for the competitive FPS ShootMania Storm. This announcement kicks off a series of events leading up to the launch of the game, including a live tournament and E-Sports demonstrations at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

Nadeo is partnering with TwitchTV for the launch of a ShootMania tournament starting Friday, June 1st. The tournament will be broadcast live on TwitchTV, and the winning teams will be invited to compete in the finals at the Ubisoft booth at E3 on June 6.  The finalists will be joined by other pro-gamers, such as Alessandro “Stermy” Avallone, Abdisamad “SpawN” Mohamed, Anya “veNemAA” Savvateeva, who will compete in matches throughout the exhibition. The TwitchTV ShootMania Tournament will be supported by shoutcasters John “Total Biscuit” Bain and Joe Miller, and also Sean “Day 9” Plott during E3.  Catch all the action live at https://twitch.tv/shootmaniastorm.

More events will be revealed in the months leading up to the launch of ShootMania Storm later this year. Gamers also can follow Shootmania on Twitter — @Shootmania — and Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/ShootMania.
