Soda Drinker Pro is a simulation that contains a full game, Vivian Clark

The exsistance of Vivian Clark was originally announced at the Soda Drinker Pro booth at Pax in this interview with Giant Bomb. The only way to access Vivian Clark is through a hidden passage inside Soda Drinker Pro Here’s a tutorial on how.

Because the reception for Vivian Clark was so encouraging at Pax we decided to take it a big step further, so we are running a Kickstarter for the game The current version has 40 worlds but if its successful we are hoping to expand it to 150-500 worlds(maybe even more!). We also want to make every aspect of the game better.  The current demo is still a little quirky and still needs a lot of tweaking.  But if the Kickstarter is successful we’ll be able to spend the time to work on it full time, and make it something like no other!

About Vivian Clark

The idea for the game came from one of my favorite songs “Think About Your Troubles” by Harry Nilsson in the movie “the Point!”  You can see a clip from the movie & the song here. The idea is one thing flowing to another to another and so on…  This is also similar to in the tv show “Mr Show” how the skits flowed into eachother, that’s a feeling we want to capture in Vivian Clark. The neat thing with about doing this as a Kickstarter it gives us the ability to take suggestions from everyone for worlds they would like built into the game.  We could build this game out infinitely too, potentially every character in the game could have it’s own story making it a pretty big game! Another aspect of the game is depending on what you do in one world it changes how the other worlds act.  For example at one point you are randomly dropping bombs on houses from a jet for apparently no reason.  You don’t have to do this, but if you do later in the game you end up playing as the family in the house that was either bombed or not, and the game changes accordingly.  Depending on what you do changes how the game plays and what is unlocked or not too.
