Dutch indie studio Vertigo Games is pleased to announce that the VR-enabled underwater exploration game World of Diving is available from today as an Early Access game on Steam (http://store.steampowered.
World of Diving lets players explore the depths of our world’s oceans – with optional support for Oculus Rift up to DK2 – in multiplayer up to 16 players, where they will together search for knowledge and treasure, encounter rarely-seen species, and discover intriguing real world and fantasy locations as well as creations of their own and others in the lively and growing 6,5k community, brought to life with the mission editor.
“After many months of development, more than 22.5k forum posts with constructive feedback and awesome ideas, and growing our community out to 6,5k open-minded enthusiasts, World of Diving is finally ready for its Steam Early Access launch today,” says Richard Stitselaar, Creative Director at Vertigo Games. “We look forward to welcoming newcomers to the game. Please be aware that as an Early Access game, it is still in development, which means bugs and missing features.”
World of Diving will be available via Steam Early Access at 09:00 PDT / 18:00 CET today for PC, Mac and Linux with optional Oculus Rift and Xbox controller support.
