Posted October 24, 2012 by Bill Rastello

If you haven’t checked out the recently gameplay videos, or even the GlassBox demo videos from around E3 time, I highly recommend checking them out. SimCity is looking to blow all other city games out of the water so far.

Fate of the World: Tipping Point

Posted November 14, 2011 by Bill Rastello

Fate of the World: Tipping Point is the latest version of the highly-rated game that wraps up the original game and the DLC into one package. What’s changed, and is it still highly recommended?

Scribblenauts Remix

Posted October 24, 2011 by Bill Rastello

Scribblenauts, the highly praised DS game, has, surprisingly, come to iOS in the form of Scribblenauts Remix. Needless to say, I got insanely excited. The idea behind Scribblenauts – create anything you can to solve the puzzle – really intrigued me, and to have it on my phone and tablet sounded even better. I’ll be [...]

Fate of the World: Tipping Point Launches

Posted September 30, 2011 by Bill Rastello

We reviewed the original Fate of the World back in March. Now the game is back and better than ever.

The global economy is headed toward collapse, revolutions are breaking out across the Middle East, famine is ravaging Africa and the world is approaching a peak oil crisis. No, these are not headlines ripped from the news; these are the challenges facing Windows and Mac gamers in Fate of the World: Tipping Point from Red Redemption.

Dungeon Keeper 2 now available on GOG

Posted August 25, 2011 by Bill Rastello

Dungeon Keeper 2 was one of Bullfrog’s best games in my opinion, triggering memories of my minions dancing to Disco Inferno after winning big in my dungeon’s casino. but has been nearly impossible to run on modern computers. When GOG came around years ago, the first thing I thought of was “Dungeon Keeper 2 would [...]

QUASI-REVIEW: 1000 Heroz

Posted August 10, 2011 by Bill Rastello

Note: It’s tough to write a full review of a game that will have new content every day for 1000 days after its release, so this will be a quasi-review of the content that is available so far (through day 64). The idea of 1000 Heroz intrigued me right off the bat – new content [...]

Civilization V Hotseat Mode Incoming!

Posted May 12, 2011 by Bill Rastello

Civilization V, in my personal opinion, is one of the best Civilization games to date, to the point where my girlfriend, who has had no experience with Civilization games in the past, has jumped in and started playing (and beaten me quite a bit). However, the biggest thing that was missing from Civ V was hotseat [...]

Cities in Motion

Posted February 21, 2011 by Bill Rastello

I’ve been a fan of transport simulation games for ages. One of the first games I remember playing when I was younger was Transport Tycoon Deluxe, where you run a transportation company, shipping goods around, hauling passengers, and build your road / rail / airport infrastructure. When I heard about Cities in Motion, I got [...]

SimTower / Yoot Tower

Posted February 8, 2011 by Bill Rastello

First off, this is my first post on Saving Content. I’m Bill Rastello, a.k.a. WJR1985, a.k.a. bipp5. While I do play new games as much as everyone else, I tend to spend a lot of my time playing older (>5 years old) games. Because of that, there may be some odd blasts (or not-so-blasts) from [...]
