Magicka: Wizard Wars leaves Early Access on April 28th

Paradox Interactive, a publisher of games with intent to conjure, today announced that Magicka: Wizard Wars will be officially released on April 28, 2015. Magicka: Wizard Wars, the free-to-play PvP action game based around the iconic Magicka spellcasting system, has long allowed the launching of flaming boulders, electrified death beams, and hapless imps, but April 28 will mark the official launch of the game itself. Magicka: Wizard Wars update allows you to play with your friends, privately

Paradox Interactive and Paradox North today came to an understanding with players of Magicka: Wizard Wars, the Spellcasting Action PvP take on the questionably ethical Magicka universe. Starting today, Wizard Wars players can set up custom games, including the ability to set password-protected matches where only their friends will be subjected to their fiery electrified death rays. Magicka: Wizard Wars gets New Map and Referral Program

Paradox Interactive and Paradox North today announced that Magicka: Wizard Wars, the online spellcasting action player-vs-player (PvP) game where robed lunatics toy with nature, has introduced a third map to its rotating arsenal of 4v4 battlegrounds. Displacement Ridge offers sizzling spellcasters a new area to immolate opponents (and sometimes teammates) but there’s something special about this particular place—it is home to multiple teleporters that can zip players across the map. Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet is Announced for Largely Rectangular Tablets

Paradox Interactive, a publisher of games and an advocate of robe-wearing, today announced the forthcoming release of Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet for iPad and Android tablets. The new title brings the franchise’s innovative and ridiculous gameplay to tablet devices in an all-new adventure, featuring everything that made Magicka a smash hit on the PC, including the unique element-combining spellcasting system, the twisted humor, and the robes of every imaginable hue. Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet will allow for four-player co-op gameplay across platforms, allowing players to discover which ignites faster – an iPad or an Android tablet.
