Radical Heights surpasses LawBreakers with All-Time Peak players in its first day
Boss Key Productions’ free-to-play Battle Royale game, Radical Heights debuted on Steam Early Access yesterday. Despite people’s seeing Boss Key’s move to a Battle Royale game as a “cash in” and suggesting that they “never learn“, the game’s done quite well for itself. Radical Heights was even popular on Twitch, right behind Fortnite with famous streamers like Dr DisRespect and LiRiK playing the game, and introducing their audiences to it and coming away liking it.
Potential of @Radical_Heights is sky high.

This resulted in SteamCharts capturing an All-Time Peak of 7,966 players in its first day:
In contrast, though not far behind, LawBreakers only ever had an All-Time Peak of 7,482 players:
SteamCharts data shows that the game’s all-time peak occurred during its Open Beta phase in June 2017, prior to full release on August 7th, 2017.
Radical Heights is very early in development, and has a solid foundation that Boss Key Productions can really build upon. I think it is evident that Boss Key Productions has learned, and is not trying to “cash in”, but has something unique enough to stand out. I don’t think this is the end of the story, and the playerbase is likely to grow from here.
UPDATE 4/12/18: SteamCharts is showing that Radical Heights has reached new heights with new All-Time Peak of 12,314 players:
