We’re proud to announce Old World released today on Steam and GOG following a period of Epic Store exclusivity, and the game’s first DLC Heroes of the Aegean also released today on all stores. The DLC will be given free to all players who purchase Old World on any platform in the first two weeks after release.
Heroes of the Aegean focuses on the greatest events of Ancient Greece, including the campaigns of Alexander the Great and the epic showdown of Leonidas and his 300 Spartans versus the Persian army in the Battle of Thermopylae. The DLC also adds a brand-new civilization playable in the main game – the Hittites, represented by warrior king Ḫattušili I.
In June localizations will officially release for Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), German, Russian, Spanish, and French. In the meantime, players can access the current versions of these languages through a testing branch in Steam, with the instructions for such access posted on the Steam store page.
