November 17, 2022. HeroCraft PC is thrilled to announce that macabre satirical management sim Organs Please launches on Steam Early Access today.
In the future, Humanity clings to life on a dying Earth. Our only salvation is to leave the crumbling husk and head for Planet 42, the future home of the human race. Your mission is to help create the Ark, a spaceship that will transport select citizens to the new utopia – it’s up to you to decide who is worthy enough to join the mission.
In Organs Please, you will oversee the Factory – constructing components for the Ark and managing employees. Your job is make sure the Ark is completed in time, while balancing the various (deadly) requests of several factions vying for power, and recycling incompetent workers to use their body parts as resources.
The meaty Early Access version of Organs Please includes 2 in-game weeks, with various outcomes that add to its replayability. The final release of the game will consist of 5 in-game weeks, 6 different endings, crazy faction requests, and more. It will be released in early 2023.
Gameplay features:
- A pile of ash or a factory employee: Screen visitors desperate to board the Ark, and who are more than willing to risk being turned into questionable canned food.
- Build the Ark to save humanity: Manage the factory, construct new facilities, and upgrade them to increase productivity. The resources available to you are finite, so try to make sure things don’t fall apart before the spaceship takes off.
- Manage your workforce: Hire staff with unique quirks, fears, and prejudices. Promote hard workers and keep them pampered with improved amenities. And work them to the bone.
- Balance faction requests: Juggle orders from competing organizations – each of which can help you in unique ways – to escape the dying rock. Remember, you will be kept alive as long as you are useful.
