Tactical RPG The Last Spell will exit Early Access in Q1 2023 for PC, PlayStation, and Switch

From Press Release:

PARIS (Dec. 13, 2022) – Publisher The Arcade Crew and developer Ishtar Games today announced that the full release of the hit tactical RPG, The Last Spell, will simultaneously reach PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation consoles in Q1 2023. The 1.0 launch will follow The Last Spell’s immensely popular debut in Early Access, through which hundreds of thousands of players have begun lending their strategic might to defend humanity’s last bastion.

A newly released trailer tours The Last Spell’s deep style of combat, which hinges a unique and massive challenge on defending a holdout (known as a Haven) from swarms of relentless monsters long enough for a crucial spell to be cast. Learning to build optimal parties, accommodate and develop the Haven, and utilize precious resources and loot while adapting to the surprises of battle is an enthralling, complex feat. Players can begin forming winning strategies today by watching the overview:

The Last Spell pairs turn-based combat, procedurally generated flanks of enemies and stashes of gear, astonishingly large enemy armies reminiscent of Musou games, and elements of roguelite to offer a distinct, highly replayable challenge. The Haven’s most promising defenders will learn to overcome disadvantages and the brute force of beastly hordes, gaining new skills and strategies through tense fights intensified by a pulse-spiking progressive metal soundtrack. Surviving The Last Spell’s brutal but fair onslaught will be nothing short of miraculous, but with wit to match the might of its defenders, humanity’s final Haven can still persevere.

Land preemptive strikes against The Last Spell’s devilish mobs by wishlisting the game on Steam or charging onto the battlefield via Early Access ( Keep tabs on The Last Spell’s relentless threats by visiting Ishtar Games’ Discord (, and following @TheArcadeCrew and @ishtar_games’ on Twitter.
