SpellRogue receives its first update alongside its first living roadmap

This month, Ghost Ship Publishing and Guidelight Games launched the fantasy, turn-based, deckbuilding roguelike SpellRogue into Early Access, challenging players to bend fate to their will with Mana Dice as they build powerful decks to combat corrupt enemies.

Looking to the future, the team has now unveiled their first living roadmap, detailing exciting new updates and features on the horizon, alongside the game’s first small update.

In today’s patch, SpellRogue added a number of new spells and artifacts, as well as a new event and a whole host of quality of life changes – including improved translations, fixes for players using ultra-wide screens, and over 130 balance changes. Check out the full patch notes on Steam.

The game is set to receive frequent updates in the coming months, one of which will see the arrival of a brand new playable character. Later this year, the Air Mage will offer players new ways to interact with their Mana Dice with an entirely new deck of spells to put to the test.
