Today, KontrolFreek launches the first official performance thumbstick™ for the hit game, Destiny.KontrolFreek Destiny CQC Signature Edition is the first product that KontrolFreek has created in partnership with Bungie, the creators of Destiny.
During Destiny’s first year, we’ve seen some ups and downs. People left, then came back to see what’s new, and left again when they felt fulfilled. There were those who scorned the game for not having enough loot and not enough new stuff to do. Then you had people like me who stuck with it through the year and enjoyed playing a game that was just plain fun to shoot aliens. If the Taken King is any indication for Destiny’s second year, then we’re off to an amazing start.
Bungie and Activision, announced today that Destiny Expansion II: House of Wolves is now available for download on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and Xbox One and Xbox 360. Destiny Expansion II: House of Wolves marks the second official expansion to the Destiny universe that adds a wealth of new weapons, armor and gear to earn in new story missions and quests, three new competitive multiplayer maps and a new co-op Strike. In addition, the expansion welcomes new activities to Destiny with the introduction of a brand-new competitive multiplayer event in the Crucible called Trials of Osiris, and a brand new co-op arena activity called the Prison of Elders.
Destiny’s first expansion is out and the votes are in, the tally’s counted, and the people polled. Should you go out and spend your hard earned $20 on The Dark Below? Is this new add-on going to give me $20 worth of new content?
Activision and Bungie today announced that Destiny Expansion I: The Dark Below will be available for download on December 9th. The Dark Belowmarks the first expansion to the universe since Destiny‘s launch in September and features all-new weapons and gear to earn through new story, cooperative and multiplayer activities.
Arguably the highest profile game of 2014, Destiny is also one that delivers. It is one of the most addictive games that’s played across my TV in some time now. The combat is fun and the graphics are beautiful, the Traveler just keeps me coming back for more and more. Destiny is an online first-person shooter with RPG elements that makes things feel closer to a massively multiplayer online title rather than a familiar first person shooter. This gives the game some character to stand out from other big name shooters like Call of Duty and Bungie’s original baby, Halo.
