The Banner Saga releases January 14th, 2014

Stoic Games, the three man team of ex-BioWare indie developers behind the extremely successful Kickstarter for The Banner Saga, will be partnering with Versus Evil, a new indie game publisher whose core goal is to help indie games successful and allow them to maintain their independence.

There is a trailer and release date of the single-player PC story-driven, role-playing game, inspired by Viking legend, which shows gameplay and more of the gorgeous hand-painted landscapes and character art. The game features turn-based strategic combat in this adventure game where every decision in travel, conversation and combat will directly affect the outcome as the player’s story unfolds. 

And good news – there’s a release date on the horizon: The Banner Sagawill be released January 14, 2014 for PC and Mac.
