September 17, 2024 | Publisher HypeTrain Digital and developer Gravity Lagoon are excited to announce that a major Interplanetary Store update for their fast-paced roguelike Gatekeeper is coming on October 7. Since its Early Access release in May, the game has garnered Very Positive reviews from players.
In Gatekeeper, you play as the Observer, tasked with protecting the Heart of the Universe – an essential artifact that maintains cosmic balance. After the Heart is stolen, you must venture into an unknown galaxy, battling hordes of machine enemies and their deities to retrieve it. Utilize character abilities and hundreds of artifacts to succeed, either in solo play or online co-op.
The upcoming Interplanetary Store update introduces major changes: the return of Prisms with new ways to collect them, an expanded artifact selection in obelisks, larger locations with no loading screens, and the option to summon the Siren at your convenience. Look out for Conflict Altars for extra challenges, a new location called Delta, and the all-new Triads mechanic, which lets you combine artifacts for powerful effects. Read all the details here.
