From Press Release:

[Brisbane, Australia – September 23rd, 2024] – Flow Studio is delighted to announce that a closed Alpha test for co-op multiplayer is set to go live in early October. A callout to the Len’s Island community has been made, offering a select group of players the chance to play a test of this highly-anticipated feature.

“We’re now a BIG step closer to completing co-op multiplayer for Len’s Island, and we want to share this progress with the community!” said Ivan Luiz Morais Seleme, Lead Developer at Flow Studio.

Players can express their interest in participating in the closed Alpha test by joining the official Len’s Island Discord server. By opting into the Tester role in the #get_roles channel, players will gain access to the new tester’s waiting room where further announcements regarding multiplayer will be made.

The closed Alpha test will reveal major insights into how multiplayer will perform in Len’s Island. During testing, players will experience gathering resources, base building, fighting off voidlings, and hunting for their next meal as a collective. Flow Studio has made it known that this is only the first of many tests and that throughout development, there will be many rounds of testing available to the community over the coming months.

Len’s Island is available to play on Steam in Early Access now, and the game is set to launch 1.0 with multiplayer at the end of this year. You can find the official press kit here, and follow Len’s Island on Twitter, YouTube, and Discord

About Flow Studio

Starting as a solo weekend project around 6 years ago, Julian Ball created Len’s Island to make his vision for the perfect game come to life. As the development of Len’s Island progressed, Julian created an independent game development studio called Flow Studio, which is currently headquartered in Brisbane, Australia. The team is a small group of creatives with a common passion: to create gaming experiences they are truly proud of. Flow Studio has steadily grown from two developers since launching Len’s Island into Early Access in 2021 to the now five-developer team from Australia and Europe.
