London, England – December 19th, 2024 — Indie game developer Spilt Milk Studios is celebrating the holiday season with an all new Festive Update to their ‘Very Positive’ rated wholesome shopkeeping game Trash Goblin. Forget Santa’s elves, the proper way to stuff your stockings is with restored trinkets from everyone’s favorite Trash Goblin himself!
This latest update brings the Winter Festival to Silver City, so what better way to celebrate than with colourful wallpaper, shelves, and decorations! Purchase cosmetic sets to unlock new options, and mix-n-match to your heart’s content! Plus, you can save presets for easy swapping between looks. Of course being a Winter Festival, you can now change the backdrop to a snowy winter wonderland to fit the theme.
This latest update also adds 10 new trinkets, along with a new customer and quests. Meet Mycelle the mushroom! This lil’ fungi is a self-started tour guide in the safer parts of the Chasm, and you’ll be helping them out with their entrepreneurial aspirations!
Preparing for the holidays can also leave quite a mess, which is why we’ve introduced the much-requested Soak Tub. Buy this and you’ll be able to plop any dirty trinket inside, and overnight it’ll be perfectly cleaned!
Those who have yet to discover the joys of Trash Goblin will be delighted to learn that there’s an all new demo kicking off Steam’s Winter Sale running today through January 2nd. This lets newcomers try out the first hour of the game and all save data will transfer to the full thing – which now features a new and improved tutorial. Happy holidays!
