Dreamhaven shares launch and post-launch content roadmap for Wildgate, releasing July 22nd

Today, Dreamhaven and developer Moonshot Games revealed a content roadmap for Wildgate, the upcoming crew-based FPS launching for $29.99 USD on July 22, 2025. The roadmap outlines what players can expect at and after launch, including the game’s first season, progression updates, custom lobbies, a deluxe edition, and much more. Wishlist Wildgate now on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Wildgate’s limited Open Beta and Steam Next Fest Demo recently concluded, resulting in the game achieving the number two spot in the top 50 most-played games and over 500,000 Wishlists. Watch the Wildgate Open Beta: By The Numbers trailer for the complete list of galactic player achievements.

Upon launch on July 22, players can expect:

• Player progression updates, including scrap crates, the Infamy system, streak goals, and player card titles and badges.
• Matchmaking and spectator view improvements.
• A deluxe edition of the game.
• An in-game cosmetic store and more cosmetic unlocks.

Coming post-launch, players can look forward to:

• Season 1, which adds a new prospector, Reach anomalies, an adventure pass, a new weapon, new equipment, and cosmetics.
• Bi-Weekly Reach Anomalies, offering players new points of interest to explore, a new Artifact type, a new hazard, and new loot.
• The ability to create custom lobbies.

In addition, Seasons 2 and 3 will introduce new areas of the Reach and more. Robust competitive play and more ways to bring in friends are being explored in future Wildgate updates.
