Third DLC for The Rise of the Golden Idol continues with The Age of Restraint – out tomorrow

London, July 14th, 2025 – Golden Idol Investigations: The Age of Restraint, the third DLC in the Golden Idol saga, is arriving tomorrow on July 15th across PC and consoles.
Included as part of the Detective Pass, this expansion introduces four intricate new scenarios set in a vibrant sci-fi Lemuria where humanity’s timeless flaws clash with advanced systems of control.
To celebrate the launch of the DLC, Playstack is holding a franchise sale on Steam from July 15th to July 23rd with discounts for both The Rise of the Golden Idol and The Case of the Golden Idol.
When reports of the unlawful use of Lemurian technology begin to surface, an inquisition squad is sent to investigate, but are they truly immune to the Idol’s influence?
