From Press Release:
STOCKHOLM and BRIGHTON – Oct. 21, 2025 – Co-publishers Paradox Interactive and White Wolf, alongside developer The Chinese Room, today released Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 for PC and consoles. Players eager to stalk the streets of Seattle can purchase the base game for SRP $59.99/£49.99/€59.99, Deluxe Edition for SRP $69.99/£58.50/€69.99, or Premium Edition for SRP $89.99/£74.99/€89.99, now on Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, players awaken in 2024 Seattle as Phyre, an Elder vampire who many recognize as the mysterious Nomad, rumored to appear when change is imminent. Phyre must navigate the treacherous politics of the Camarilla Court to reclaim their full vampiric powers. Along the way, Phyre is guided by the voice of Fabien, a Malkavian detective whose fractured perception of reality offers both insight and unease. Six clans are available for Phyre, each with its own distinct playstyles, outfits, and Disciplines: the rebellious Brujah, blood sorcery masters Tremere, justice-driven Banu Haqim, the persuasive Ventrue, the enthralling Toreador, and the shadow masters Lasombra.
Throughout the wintry streets of Seattle, Phyre meets characters who test their trust and shape their path. Leaders of Seattle’s Camarilla Court maintain order and enforce the Masquerade, the absolute law of Kindred society that keeps vampires hidden from humanity. Beyond their influence, the Anarchs and the unbound, fight for survival and independence from the Camarilla’s iron grip. Phyre’s choices among these factions, guided by Fabien’s past, will ultimately define Seattle’s future.
Bloodlines 2 features four difficulty modes—Casual, Easy, Normal, and Hard—balancing narrative focus and combat challenge. Casual eases combat and prioritizes story discovery for players immersed in uncovering the truth behind Seattle. Easy, Normal, and Hard progressively increase combat challenge, requiring mastery of Phyre’s abilities to survive the night.
“To finally launch Bloodlines 2 is a landmark moment for White Wolf and for Vampire: The Masquerade,” said Marco Behrmann, White Wolf Executive Vice President and Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer. “It carries forward the spirit of what came before while standing on its own as something new. The supernatural hunting grounds of Seattle are open to players, feeling both new and familiar in all the right ways. I want to thank the excellent team at The Chinese Room for their vision and dedication in shaping this world of modern horror. They’ve built something atmospheric, intelligent, and true to the dark heart of Vampire: The Masquerade.”
“Narrative has always been at the heart of our craft, and in Bloodlines 2, it intertwines seamlessly with the kind of modern, character-driven horror that defines the World of Darkness,” explained Alex Skidmore, Project Creative Director at The Chinese Room. “Seattle is on the brink of an open supernatural war, and as Fabien warns, trouble comes in pairs. This project marks a defining moment in bringing our signature storytelling to a world known for its complexity and moral tension. Phyre and Fabien embody this tension as an unlikely duo who attract trouble at every turn while uncovering the city’s darkest mysteries.”
Bloodlines 2 is scored by lead composers Craig Stuart Garfinkle and Eímear Noone, whose haunting, ambient soundscapes heighten the dark and mysterious corners of Seattle. New music by composer Rik Schaffer, whose score for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines helped defined the game’s atmosphere, complements the soundtrack. The voice cast includes Hara Yannas and Tommy Sim’aan as Phyre, Ronan Summers as Fabien, and others who bring Seattle’s Kindred politics and mortal struggles to life with grounded and masterful performances.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 – Loose Cannon and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 – The Flower & the Flame story packs will launch in 2026 and are available in the Expansion Pass. These Story Packs allow players to explore Seattle through the perspectives of Sheriff Benny Muldoon and Primogen Ysabella Moore, respectively.
