SEATTLE, WA – Dec. 9, 2025 – The King is Watching, the award-nominated roguelite kingdom builder from developer Hypnohead and publisher tinyBuild with more than 200k wishlists, 375k sales, and a 86% positive rating on Steam, forms a searing hot pact in the brand new Volcano update, available today on PC via Steam with a Steam Daily Deal of 35% off.

Head to the blazing biome of lava-filled mountain tops, where legends tell of a great power located in an active volcano. Gather Nether Runes to unlock scorching new allies, powerful barracks, and untapped power – yet it all comes at a cost. Embrace the flames and become an unstoppable force across the kingdom.

Battle the forces of evil during Fortuneteller events and collect Nether Runes to raise the Worship Meter and reap rewards. Once unlocked, the Nether Rune Enchantery helps to generate a fixed amount of runes continuously. Alternatively, sacrifice units for the greater good at the Infernal Altars to secure additional runes.

Set the fields of battle ablaze with the introduction of nine new Infernal units, accessible via the Infernal Barracks. Strike fear in the hearts of enemies by activating runes to summon a fearsome ally, Infernal General Malathrax, enacting fresh strategies to achieve victory against all odds.

Gaze upon the volcanic landscape as it alters in real time: skies darken, the ground erupts, and meteor strikes crash into the battlefield.
