Awesome Games Done Quick returns this weekend in Pittsburgh, raising funds for Prevent Cancer Foundation

January 2, 2026 – Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ), the annual charity speedrunning marathon organized by Games Done Quick, returns this weekend to raise funds for Prevent Cancer Foundation. Taking place January 4-10 at the Wyndham Grand in downtown Pittsburgh, AGDQ 2026 will be livestreamed 24/7 via the official Games Done Quick Twitch channel.

Throughout the week, speedrunners from around the world will showcase high-level gameplay across an assortment of classic and modern games, such as Split Fiction, Resident Evil 2, Luigi’s Mansion, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Silent Hill f, and many more. The event kicks off on Sunday, January 4 with Super Mario Sunshine. The full schedule is available at https://gamesdonequick.com/schedule.

AGDQ 2026 will be held in support of Prevent Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering people to stay ahead of cancer through prevention and early detection. Viewers can donate throughout the event via GamesDoneQuick.com, with one hundred percent of those proceeds going directly to the charity. Last year, AGDQ raised more than $2.5 million for Prevent Cancer Foundation.
