The Last Faith expands with the release of FREE DLC in Awakened Ancients – out now

London, UK, January 20, 2026 – The Last Faith expands today with Awakened Ancients, a FREE major DLC release delivering long-awaited content, deeper challenges, and the most polished version of the game to date.

Players return to Mythringal with new gameplay areas, additional modes, new characters, and a much-requested New Game Plus, offering new ways to experience and explore the world of The Last Faith.

Key Features

New enemies and bosses

Face 7 new unique enemies and 5 new bosses in Awakened Ancients.

New gameplay area and game modes

Dungeon Mode

Accessible within Oxnevylle Manor after obtaining the Nighthunter’s Grappling Claw. Players can use 3 new characters to discover new weapons, bosses, enemies, NPCs, and items. Completing Dungeon Mode rewards a new skin.

New Game Plus

Begin a more challenging journey as Eryk or one of 3 new characters unlocked in Dungeon Mode. Continue the challenge through NG+, NG+2, NG+3, and beyond. Starting New Game Plus replaces previous save data and resets all events.

Boss Rush Mode

Available after completing the main game. Start a New Game Plus to access Boss Rush from the Extra section of the main menu. Fight all bosses from the main game, including optional bosses, excluding bosses from Dungeon Mode. Completing Boss Rush rewards a new skin.

Tower of Despair

Available after completing the main game from the Extra section of the main menu. This survival mode challenges players to defeat multiple waves of enemies from each act of the game.

New executions and gameplay improvements

Awakened Ancients expands combat with new executions and a range of gameplay improvements, adding variety and refinement to every encounter.

New characters, items, and weapons

Additional characters, items, and weapons are available to discover in the new areas introduced in Awakened Ancients.

Platforms and Availability

Available today January 20, 2026 for Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.

The Nintendo Switch version is currently in development and will launch at a later date. More details will be shared once available.
