Roadside Research has surpassed 1.5 million players in Early Access across Steam and Xbox just five weeks after launch, and today we’re releasing the new Automation Update, adding new systems that let players automate their station, expand customization, and run everything more efficiently, whether solo or in co-op.
Since release, the co-op alien gas-station simulator has been growing quickly thanks to strong community support, with clips spreading across social media and hundreds of streams and videos going live.
The Automation Update includes:
- Automation tools like self-scan registers and self-service gas pumps
- A cleaning robot to keep the station tidy
- Shop expansion and more customization, including extra mask slots and decorations
- New products like frozen pizza and ice cream
- Several community-requested QoL improvements
To celebrate the update, Roadside Research is also 20% off on Steam from March 19 to March 26.
