PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS adds co-op PvE roguelite mode Xeno Point with Update 41.1

From Press Release:

EL SEGUNDO, CALIF. – April 8, 2026 – KRAFTON, Inc. today released Update 41.1 for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, introducing Xeno Point, a new co-op PvE roguelite mode where players battle an alien threat. The update also adds new crossover content inspired by the action game Stellar Blade, including items based on protagonist EVE, and brings back the aespa collaboration, giving players another chance to pick up in-game content themed around the global K-pop group.

Xeno Point Mode
Xeno Point is a co-op PvE roguelite mode where players take on an alien threat that has overtaken Miramar. Built around a cosmic horror theme, the mode blends PUBG’s grounded combat with extraterrestrial enemies, abilities, and technology to deliver a different experience with each run through randomized stages and character progression.

Players begin in a central hub, complete missions across multiple regions, and push into higher-tier zones before facing the final boss, the Architect. Along the way, they can customize their playstyle with Blue Chip Skills built for offense, defense, or support, use Super abilities powered by alien energy, and strengthen their characters across repeated sessions. A range of mission types and progression paths helps make each run feel distinct. Players can also wield the signature Xeno Cannon weapon, while Event Pass: Xeno Point launches alongside the mode.

To mark the new mode launch, KRAFTON will host the Xeno Point Streamer Challenge, a global competition for Twitch and Kick creators with a total prize pool of $100,000. Registration opens April 4, with PC and console events running through April 23. Full details will be available on the official PUBG website.

Stellar Blade Crossover
Update 41.1 also introduces a crossover with the hit action game Stellar Blade, bringing protagonist EVE into PUBG through the Contender System, a Workshop feature that lets players unlock and customize premium character sets. Best known in Stellar Blade as humanity’s “Savior,” EVE is reimagined in PUBG through a survival-focused lens, delivering a new version of the character tailored for the Battlegrounds.

The EVE content includes multiple character looks, including her signature suit and casual outfit, as well as themed emotes, lobby poses, kill effects, and drop trail effects. Additional items include a helmet and backpack set, a machete skin, energy drink skin, parachute, weapon charms, and sprays.

aespa Collaboration Returns
By popular demand, the aespa collaboration will return for a limited time, bringing back themed outfits, emote packs, weapon skins, frying pan skins, and parachutes inspired by the global K-pop group from April 22 to April 30.

Additional Gameplay Updates
Update 41.1 also includes several gameplay and systems updates. Destructible terrain has been expanded to Erangel, and a new Level 3 Jammer Pack has been added. In addition, players can now call in supply drops using enemy team Blue Chips at Blue Chip Transmitter Towers, creating new strategic opportunities during matches.
