From Press Release:
Tower Raid is launching as a permanent game mode in Dying Light 2: Stay Human on February 19, offering players a roguelite challenge accessible directly from the Main Menu. This mode encourages players to raid several floors of a tower, uncover valuable loot, and test their survival skills.
Key features:
-
Four Different Classes: Round up a squad of up to 4-player co-op. Pick from the Tank, Brawler, Ranger or Specialist classes; each one has its own unique skill set. And if you really want to push yourself, you can always go in alone.
-
Three Difficulty Modes: Tower Raid introduces three difficulty options – quick, normal and elite, having an impact on the duration of the play. Each run presents a new mix of floors and challenges, ensuring a dynamic experience with every attempt.
-
New Progression System: Progression in Tower Raid is designed to reward persistence. With every failure, players unlock new abilities and equipment to improve their chances in the challenging run.
-
High risk, even higher rewards: The Raid Hub features Sola, a trader offering unique rewards such as the Office Day Outfit, Kuai Dagger, and Silenced Pistol.
The Tower Raid is here to stay in the game – but we are just getting started. We’re actively seeking player feedback through Dying Light official social media channels (Facebook, X, Instagram), Discord and Reddit communities to refine and enhance the experience even further. Additionally, a dedicated survey will be released a few days after launch of the Tower Raid to collect further insights from players.
