“Map Editor” Update arrives for lovecraftian action roguelike and co-op dungeon crawler Cthulhu’s Reach: Devil Reef

Umeå, Sweden – June 2, 2025 – Cthulhu’s Reach: Devil Reef, the Lovecraftian action-roguelike co-op dungeon crawler from developer The Fine Arc, has launched a new update ahead of its launch later this year. The game, along with several other First Break Labs titles, is also on sale on Steam starting today through June 9.

The Cthulhu’s Reach: Devil Reef Update launched today includes:

• Map Editor with Mod Browser Integration: Create custom maps using assets from Act 1 and Act 2, and download creations from other players.
• Flamethrower Rebalancing: Now more vicious and chaotic — it burns through fuel faster, intensifying the action.
• Incantations: Rebalanced for deeper strategic decision-making.
• Bugfixes: Various fixes for a smoother experience.
