Co-op roguelite FPS Deadzone: Rogue exits Early Access for full release today, console demos out

August 12th, Atlanta, USA – Deadzone: Rogue from Prophecy Games has launched today, releasing its 1.0 patch. The co-op Roguelite FPS has enjoyed an Early Access period that saw 300,000 players join the action, and now moves into full release. The full 1.0 version of the game includes Zone 3 content for the first time with 9 new missions, and completes the story of the mysterious ISSX, which is overrun by hostile machines.

The full release of Deadzone: Rogue adds 20 new enemies with a huge range of abilities, two unique mini-bosses, and a large-scale boss encounter that is the games’ toughest yet. A new ‘synergy’ system also has been released, with over 40 options to enhance players’ builds, and two new elements, Psionic and Plasma have been introduced. Patch 1.0 adds and updates all areas of Deadzone: Rogue, with additional missions, localization options in Japanese and Chinese, as well as Steam Deck verification and additional game pad support.

The Deluxe edition of Deadzone: Rogue is also available now, including the Operative Pack, and the original soundtrack which is new in game for patch 1.0. The Operative Pack is an additional DLC containing cosmetic items for Deadzone: Rogue. The DLC grants players the Void King suit and weapon skins, a golden name, and adds a lounge area with a jukebox to the ship.

Deadzone: Rogue, and its deluxe edition are available now for PC with a 20% discount on Steam. A future console release for Deadzone: Rogue has been confirmed by Prophecy Games, and a free demo is downloadable on Xbox and PS5.
