Crushed In Time gets another gameplay teaser for the upcoming meta-mystery adventure

From Press Release:

FRANCE (Jan. 21, 2026) – French boutique development house Draw Me A Pixel today revealed a brand-new clip of Crushed in Time, the comedic point-and-click meta adventure spin-off of the 1 million+ selling There is No Game. Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson return from There is No Game and set off an elastic (even the polygons are stretchy) point-and-click adventure that will send them flying through time and an actual development pipeline as they attempt to find a character missing from their newly launched game. Crushed in Time is slated to launch on PC, iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch in 2026: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3858650/Crushed_In_Time/

Today’s new gameplay clip gives players an early look at a mysterious new character that our dynamic duo will need to help if they hope to set things right: https://youtu.be/xEDKJvVnj7Q

Before you set off to join Holmes and Watson, you should know what you’re getting into. While Holmes is considered the greatest detective of his time by everyone – everyone named Sherlock Holmes, that is – he’ll need all the help you can give him to figure out just what’s going on here.

Dr. Watson might appear naive and cowardly at first glance… and second glance. You’re going to need to help put some pep in his step to make it through this journey.

Visit various stages of game production and go behind the scenes of development with this meta-adventure featuring totally “elastic” gameplay and a fully voiced cast. An adventure this quirky features matching eclectic visuals – an inviting cartoon art style awaits as players explore the vibrant 2D world of a game’s development… or is it 3D? Just what is a “polygon” anyway? Why are things so stretchy here?

Think like a detective and use the, erm…unusual… tools provided to progress through time and crack this case, including an irreverent twist on the point-and-click genre that lets players manipulate objects and the environment through more than just clicks. Interact with objects and characters by pushing, pulling, stretching and yoinking rather than simply clicking, adding a layer of experimentation and interest on top of the genre’s brain-teasing mechanics and touching narratives surrounding the characters. With unconventional problems that require even more unconventional solutions, Crushed in Time will leave players with a world begging to be toyed with in new and inventive ways.

Crushed in Time is slated to launch on PC, iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch in 2026. For more information, visit https://drawmeapixel.com/.
