Today, 2K and Gearbox Software released Borderlands 4’s Bounty Pack 2: Legend of the Stone Demon as the first piece of premium paid content for the title.
In this all-new DLC, embark on a mission from Defiant Calder to end the barbaric rituals of the Augers, who for centuries have quelled rumblings from the deep by sending human sacrifices to the fabled Stone Demon.
Delve into an ancient cavern alongside Calder to eliminate threats among rich veins of crystalline Ordonite and take on new Ordonite-encrusted enemy types, three new minibosses, and a fearsome final boss.
Alongside Bounty Pack 2, a major update has been released that marks the exciting addition of Pearlescent gear to Borderlands 4. This new rarity tier is even more Legendary and powerful than Legendaries and will be available to all players regardless of what edition of Borderlands 4 they own.
Additional content in Bounty Pack 2 includes:
- 10 new pieces of powerful Legendary and Pearlescent loot
- Added rewards including a new Vault Hunter Skin, new Digirunner vehicle, and new ECHO-4 Drone Skin
- A Vault Card featuring 24 cosmetics and 4 rerollable pieces of new mecha- and kaiju-themed gear to unlock through gameplay
Even more new content is coming to Borderlands 4 soon! The first Story Pack for Borderlands 4, Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned, will launch in March and introduces a new zone of Kairos with multiple main missions and side missions, new gear to earn, and heaps of new cosmetics. Also included in this Story Pack is the first new playable Vault Hunter in Borderlands 4: C4SH.
Players that own Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition are automatically granted access to Bounty Pack 2 and all content from the Bounty Pack Bundle (Bounty Packs 2, 3, 4, and 5) and Vault Hunter Pack (Story Packs 1 and 2), while Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition grants the Bounty Pack Bundle. Bounty Packs and Story Packs are also available for individual purchase.
