June 25, 2026 – Hooded Horse and Lantto Games are excited to announce the early access release date for Sandustry, a game about digging deep, automating complex production chains, and uncovering the mysteries of long-lost civilizations through the power of Science™. The game will release on PC via Steam, GOG, and the Microsoft Store on August 13, 2026. The game will also be playable via PC Game Pass from day one.
In Sandustry, players will prospect their way across a procedurally generated planet, digging deep and automating complex production chains for a pixel-perfect factory designed to harvest every resource, converting them into newer, better resources. Players must utilize an ever-growing arsenal of weapons, reactions, and technologies to exploit every part of this untamed world, all while uncovering the mysteries buried deep beneath the surface. Who knows what ancient secrets lie waiting to be discovered?
Key elements of Sandustry include:
- Build, upgrade, and optimize interconnected webs of filters, conveyors, pumps, pipes, and even drones.
- Harness chain reactions to cause melting ice, rising steam, and good old combustion for explosive combinations.
- Unlock powerful weapons to dig deeper and mine faster, including a flamethrower and rocket launcher to really get the Science™ going.
- Find clever ways to penetrate the barriers and traps designed to protect the secret knowledge left behind by an ancient civilization.
- Expand your industrial capabilities while attempting to shift and manage heaps and heaps of coarse, rough sand that gets everywhere. Like, literally.
