MMORPG Tibia brings infinitely difficult bosses and the game’s best weapons

From Press Release:

Regensburg, Germany, 13 July 2026 | The summer update, now available for free, presents the Tibia community with one of its greatest challenges to date: The toughest bosses in the game’s 29-year history await players at the end of a new quest. True to an MMORPG with no level cap, their difficulty can be ramped up infinitely. This means that the bosses not only gain more health points, but the battles also become more challenging through additional game mechanics.

The higher the difficulty setting for the boss fight, the greater the chance of obtaining the best loot. The new Moonsilver swords, bows and wands dropped by the bosses are the most powerful weapons in the game. As has been the case since the last summer update, these can be further levelled up and customised. A new feature allows players to replace two slots on a weapon’s skill tree – this further development of the Weapon Proficiency System also benefits the other weapons in the game.

For the new bosses, players can activate a practice mode for the first time in Tibia. Although there is no loot in this mode, players take less damage, giving them a better chance to learn the boss mechanics. Tibia has also become more beginner-friendly in other areas over the past few months. Another starter zone builds on the new tutorial island introduced in winter and guides players up to level 20. As recently as mid-June, all of the game’s classes were also overhauled, expanded and made more accessible.

The trailer released today provides an overview of all the new features in the summer update. As always, more detailed information can be found at www.tibia.com. Artwork, screenshots, and logos can be downloaded from the press section of the CipSoft website.
