A new Release Date Announcement Trailer is out now, offering another glimpse at the increasingly ambitious business of convincing people that everything in life would be better if only they had somewhere to park.
What Is Car Park Capital?
In Car Park Capital, you’ve been hired by Big Auto to unleash the Freedom of Car Dependency on unsuspecting townsfolk. Buy land, demolish homes, build vast parking facilities, drill for oil, manufacture cars, satisfy your citizens’ increasingly automotive needs, and use propaganda to ensure everyone understands that this is progress.
Of course, not everybody will appreciate your vision. Citizens have their own thoughts and opinions, and your relentless pursuit of automotive paradise can lead to protests and civil unrest. Fortunately, pro-car propaganda, shiny statues, plastic trees, and, when necessary, riot police can help keep things moving in the right direction.
Behind the satire is a real-time tycoon simulation in which hundreds of citizens and vehicles interact across systems of traffic, production, needs, public opinion, and profitability.

- Satisfy every Need… by car – Keep citizens supplied with food, drinks, gas, amusement, and restrooms. Their satisfaction determines how much they’re willing to pay for your services, from parking fees and gas to cars and drive-thrus.
- Embrace the drive-thru lifestyle – Why get out of your car when everything can come to you? Build drive-thrus to serve your citizens, including the magnificent giant Toilet Drive-Thru.
- Spread the good word – Place statues and billboard posters, or send megaphone trucks around town blasting pro-car propaganda to keep citizens committed to the automotive dream.
- Deal with dangerous dissent – Demolishing neighborhoods, cutting down trees, paving the landscape, and drilling for oil can make people unhappy. Protesters can block your drive-thrus and influence other citizens, so send in riot police when order needs to be restored.
- Rival public transport – Citizens may initially use trains and underground subways. Convince them to abandon such dangerous ideas and buy a car instead.
