Get ready for Mayhem! Warner Bros. Games today revealed the latest trailer for the critically acclaimed LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight, showcasing the brand-new Mayhem Collection downloadable content (DLC) starring DC’s The Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters.
On display in the trailer, The Joker brings a fast-paced, agile combat style focused on speed and mobility, wielding his Paintball Pelter and Boxing Glove, while Harley Quinn offers a chaotic arsenal that includes her trusty hammer, summoning her loyal hyenas, Bud & Lou, and her Fun Gun loaded with Confetti and Bubblegum.
The Mayhem Collection DLC will launch on Sept. 18 for PlayStation®5, XBOX Series X|S, PC (Steam & Epic Games Store), and Nintendo Switch™2 Deluxe Edition owners, including:
- NEW Story Mission – Play as The Joker and Harley Quinn, each with their own abilities and gadgets, as they orchestrate a breakout from Arkham Asylum with a going-away party Gotham City won’t soon forget.
- NEW Mayhem Mode – Unleash chaos across Gotham City as The Joker and Harley Quinn through time-limited Mayhem Runs and make it back to Amusement Mile before the clock runs out, with Batman and Robin in hot pursuit. Earn LEGO studs by smashing landmarks, stores, vehicles, and completing challenges, while battling A.R.G.U.S. Agents and members of Amanda Waller’s Task Force X in Deathstroke, Killer Croc, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, King Shark, Polka-Dot Man, and other notorious DC Super-Villains.
- NEW Sinister Pack – Themed outfits inspired by popular DC comic book issues and action figures, plus a new vehicle to cruise around Gotham City and various Batcave customization items, including:
- Batman – The Batman Who Laughs outfit (Dark Nights: Metal #2 | 2017)
- Robin – Robin King outfit (Dark Nights: DM – Legends of the Dark Knights #1 | 2020)
- Nightwing – Joker outfit (Nightwing #16 | 2011)
- Batgirl – Joker outfit (Jokerized DC Multiverse Action Figure)
- Jim Gordon – Joker outfit (The Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing #9 | 2022)

Additionally, an enhanced “Absolute” difficulty level will be available as a free update for all LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight owners on Sept. 18, in conjunction with the Mayhem Collection release. This new setting is designed to be even more challenging than the Caped Crusader and Dark Knight options, requiring greater skill, awareness, and precision in combat.
Players will also be able to earn a variety of outfits for The Joker and Harley Quinn based on past Batman media, such as The Dark Knight Returns comic book series, Batman: The Animated Series, and more.
The LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Standard and Deluxe Editions are available now for PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC (Steam & Epic Games Store). Standard Edition owners on the aforementioned platforms can purchase the Deluxe Edition Upgrade to receive the Legacy Collection DLC now and Mayhem Collection DLC on Sept. 18.
The LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Nintendo Switch 2 version will launch on Sept. 18, alongside the Mayhem Collection DLC. The Nintendo Switch 2 Standard and Deluxe Editions can be pre-ordered now.
Developed by TT Games, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is an open world action-adventure that invites players to embark on Bruce Wayne’s epic journey to become the hero of Gotham City, from origin to legend, while forging bonds with trusted allies and facing off against Gotham City’s most infamous DC Super-Villains. Inspired by decades of Batman films, television shows, comic books, and games, this all-new videogame combines countless DC references and TT Games’ signature brand of fun-filled LEGO humor in the ultimate LEGO Batman experience.
Players can unlock the in-game Golden Age Batsuit, a classic outfit based on the Caped Crusader’s debut look from Detective Comics #27 (1939), accessible for eligible users who create a Warner Bros. Games account and those who already have an account, as well as the in-game Black Lantern Batsuit (inspired by the HBO series LANTERNS, from DC Studios and Warner Bros. Television) and Dark Knights of Steel Batsuit (based on DC’s Dark Knights of Steel comic) by linking a Warner Bros. Games account with an active HBO Max account.
