From Press Release:
London, UK – September 11th, 2026 – Playstack and developer Pengonauts today announced that Dicevaders, a dice-based roguelike deckbuilder, will launch on September 29, 2026, for PC and Nintendo Switch systems.
The game will be available for: £12.99 / $14.99 / euro 14.99 with a 10% launch discount for the first two weeks.
Every unit you draft is another combo waiting to happen. Build your army, stack bonuses, and manipulate your dice to unleash combos that can break math AND the planet it was invented on. Created by the team behind StarVaders, Dicevaders is a completely new game where every run offers new synergies to discover, new builds to experiment with, and increasingly absurd numbers to chase.
An Army of Combo Opportunities
Draft units and collect artifacts to turn your invasion force into an increasingly elaborate scoring machine. Every placement on your grid matters, and a new addition could be the missing piece that sends your build into overdrive. Stick with a reliable combination or chase a synergy you haven’t tried before. There’s always another run.
What WOULD happen when you multiply infinity by infinity?
Give Luck a Nudge
A disappointing roll doesn’t have to ruin a perfectly unreasonable plan. Use Chrono to reroll dice and refresh the shop, or spend Budges to adjust your results. Line up pairs, triples, and quadruples to trigger powerful combos and enjoy the satisfaction of making the dice work for you.
Find Something Broken. Make It Worse.
Experiment with over 10 different Commanders, each with distinct perks and synergies, and push your builds to their limits. Stack effects, set off chain reactions, and watch your attack score climb. The pilots from StarVaders will turn up to defend Earth and disrupt your plans, so consider excessive force a sensible precaution.
The game started as a “what if…” idea from developer Axolotl at Pengonauts:
“I had a crazy dream about a dice-based game in the same universe , so I put together a prototype in a few days. Somehow it ended up being way better than it had any right to be. From the beginning, the goal was to create a numbers-go-up game that rewards strategy and planning rather than pure luck. The more we worked on it, the more we realized that we accidentally made a really cool game.”
