Today The Banner Saga releases on PC and Mac (Steam + various retailers) from the three-man, ex-BioWare team at Stoic Studio in collaboration with Austin Wintory, the Grammy-nominated, two-time BAFTA winning composer known for his work with Journey, and the help of thousands of amazing Kickstarter backers that pledged over $723,000 and believed in Stoic to bring this epic story-driven Viking-inspired saga to life.
The Banner Saga is a role-playing adventure where player choice during travel, relationship building and combat will have meaningful effects on how each player’s story unfolds. In a cold-stricken land, based on Viking lore, players will navigate a long journey and meet over 25 playable characters.
