GamrCred Becomes GamrRank

After getting a cease-and-desist letter from the presumably evil corporate overlords at <insert company that had a problem with the whole Gamr”Cred” thing>, we put a few names up to a vote, allowing the community to decide the new name of the Ultimate Rank in Games… and the winner is… GamrRank, which captured about 65% of the vote!

If you’re unfamiliar with the site, GamrRank is the brainchild of the former BioWare folks at Empire Avenue, and it aims to combine what you say with what you play to rank you in the vast world of video games. The more achievements you get, the more respect you gain within the community, and the more you talk about specific games online, the higher your GamrRank.
