Assassin’s Creed Rearmed on the App Store reaches 1M Downloads

Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Rearmed, the recently released mobile, multiplayer game experience for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, has been downloaded more than one million times in less than four weeks of being available on the App Store.

Gamers will now embrace the opportunity to take their Assassin’s Creed experience on the go to coincide with the launch of the highly anticipated “Assassin’s Creed Revelations” on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Inspired by the critically-acclaimed multiplayer gameplay in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed Rearmed was developed from the ground up for the iOS platform, taking full advantage of the unique control system, and letting players compete with friends in a real-time online multiplayer mode or hone their skills offline in the single player mode.  The game is driven by an in-game economy, where players can expand their multiplayer experience by acquiring additional items, characters, abilities and more.

Having played this myself, you play the multiplayer seen in Brotherhood and now in Revelations where you’re given a target and must assassinate them for points. All of this is done from a top-down perspective that works remarkably well. Also it integrates with Apple’s Game Center.

Assassin’s Creed Rearmed is available globally from the App Store on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch at: (Which, it’s worth noting that it’s FREE)
