Ryan Davis: R.I.P. 1979 – 2013

The news spread quickly today, that Co-Founder of Giant Bomb, Ryan Davis had passed away on July 3rd at the young age of 34. He was a few days removed from his wedding. Absolutely heartbreaking.

He was very funny, kind, and easy to talk to from my personal experience. I never got to know him beyond that, but I felt like I did over the years watching him at GameSpot and then Giant Bomb.

He had a significant impact on games and games journalism. He will be missed for years to come. Ryan’s family and friends have our sincerest and most heartfelt condolences.
