From Press Release:
Today, Berlin-based studio Megagon Industries released the full game reveal trailer for their upcoming arcade-style mountain biking game, Lonely Mountains: Downhill. The game also just launched a Kickstarter campaign and is set to be released on Steam (PC/Mac/Linux) in mid-2018 if the campaign gets funded.
In this arcade-style mountain bike game it’s just you and your bike versus the rocky peaks of the Lonely Mountains. Explore unspoiled nature and take on the challenge to find the fastest route down scenic mountainsides. Take the well-worn trail or find your own path down narrow trails and steep cliff jumps. There’s no set path to master – just try not to crash!
- Find your path: Take the well-worn trail or search for the hidden areas, there is no set path for the way down the mountain
- Unspoiled nature: explore through thick forests and steep canyons – diverse handcrafted mountains full of nature and wildlife await
- Many game modes: Race in Time Trial, Hard Time Trial, Challenge Mode, One Life Left Mode and more
- More to come: Depending on the success of the Kickstarter there will be several surprises added to the game
“Since we build the first prototype of Lonely Mountains: Downhill two years ago we wanted to create a different kind of sports game. A game that is not only about winning a race or a tournament but about you and the mountain“ says Daniel Helbig, co-founder of the game dev duo Megagon Industries „The last two years were an incredible ride and we can’t wait to take the next step together with all the people who supported and encouraged us to make this Kickstarter campaign.“ adds co-founder Jan Bubenik.
