IOGEAR announces Kaliber Gaming HVER PRO RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboards, available today

The new keyboards, which feature either red (GKB720RGB-RD) or brown (GKB720RGB-BN) mechanical switches, combine precision keystrokes, a rugged aircraft aluminum chassis, RGB per-key backlighting, and full programmability giving users a high-end keyboard that is ideal for PC gaming or everyday typing.

Unlike traditional keyboards that utilize dome or membrane switches, the new HVER PRO RGB keyboards utilize mechanical tactile switches. These switches do not need to be fully depressed for proper registration enabling users to game faster and type more accurately with less hand fatigue.  The GKB720RGB-BN features brown switches which have a light tactile feedback “click,” and are the most popular mechanical switch type among gamers. The GKB720RGB-RD uses red switches which have a more linear feel (no click) and are very quiet, making them ideal for games that prefer a smoother response and quieter operation.
