IO Interactive announces Closed Technical Test of Freelancer roguelike mode for HITMAN 3

Today, IO Interactive revealed new details surrounding Freelancer, the brand new single-player mode for HITMAN 3, which introduces roguelike elements, strategic planning and a customisable safehouse.

In a few weeks, IO will be inviting select HITMAN 3 players on Steam to join the HITMAN 3 Freelancer Closed Technical Test, where they’ll be able to check out core elements of the mode. More details will be revealed on October 27, including start times and how to get access.

IO have also provided an update on the mode’s launch time, revealing that HITMAN 3: Freelancer is now scheduled for release on January 26, 2023. It will arrive as a free update for all HITMAN 3 owners.
