Grounded, Obsidian Entertainment’s co-op survival adventure phenomenon that has welcomed over 20 million players is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Available as a digital download for $39.99 USD and supporting cross play across Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Grounded welcomes players into the vast, beautiful, and dangerous world of the backyard, where four teens have been shrunk to the size of ants and must brave the perils found within on their quest to return to their normal size. Featuring a variety of unique biomes to explore, dangerous bosses to confront, armor and gear to craft, and a story mode to experience, Grounded’s backyard is packed with content for new or returning players across all platforms.
Alongside Grounded’s launch on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, players across all platforms will get the game’s 1.4 “Fully Yoked” free update today. This adds a variety of new content and features such as Ant Colonies players can befriend or betray, a New Game+ mode for a remixed story and backyard, full Japanese voice-over support, and more. After nearly four years and over a dozen content updates since the game’s original early access release, the “Fully Yoked” update marks the last planned content update for the game.
Additionally, Obsidian is partnering with Limited Run Games on a limited edition physical print run of Grounded. Pre-orders for physical copies are available for a limited time through April 28 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch for $39.99, with a collector’s edition available for $124.99.
