The next phase of the pre-expansion update for The War Within kicks off today with special in-game events that will take players on a nostalgic trip through the history of WoW’s greatest threats.
Radiant Echoes will invite the champions of Azeroth to face and eliminate the memories of Azeroth which have taken shape in the form of past enemies including player favorites such as the Lich King. For their efforts, players will earn residual memories which will be a currency used to purchase limited-time warband-bound gear.
This event will be available to players, levels 10-70, regardless of whether they currently own The War Within and will end with the expansion’s global launch on August 26 at 3:00 p.m.
Lastly, in case you missed it, hot off the heels of the World of Warcraft presentation at Chinajoy last weekend, the new high-resolution launch trailer is now available which you can view on the World of Warcraft YouTube channel.
