Valheim’s “Bog Witch” Update is now live with new friendly NPC, feasts, recipes, and more

Valheim’s spookiest biome is getting even spookier just in time for Halloween season! The hit viking survival game’s newest update titled ‘Bog Witch’ is now live, ushering in a new friendly NPC dwelling in the Swamps, as well as new additions to crafting, cooking and farming. Here’s an overview of new features in case this is of interest to news:

The Bog Witch, New Friendly NPC – Deep within the Swamps, a new vendor awaits. The enigmatic Bog Witch will welcome all who set out to find her in her humble abode clad in dim candlelight. The witch offers potions necessary to craft Tonics, Meads and Draughts that lend temporary power and enhance Vikings’ battle prowess, as well as spices and other materials that players can use to craft new tools.

Feasts for Fellow Vikings – Cooks and chefs across Valheim can now prepare magnificent feasts for their party members made out of the finest ingredients in the realm. Eight new feasts are now available for the connoisseurs of taste, each offering multiple serving per group, including the Black Forest Buffet Platter, Plains Pie Picnic, Sailor’s Bounty, Mushrooms Galore á la Mistlands and more!

Farming, Cooking and Crafting Additions – The update also introduces the new “Cooking”, ‘Crafting’ and “Farming” skills that improve these skills and offer bonuses upon levelling them up, a full farming attire and a Scythe, two new working stations for the kitchen and two new decorations that can be crafted using materials acquired from the Bog Witch.
