Carmen Sandiego is heading to Japan in the game’s very first FREE FestiVILE limited-time event! Running from April 7 to May 4, this special event coincides with Japan’s real-world Cherry Blossom Festival, making it the perfect time to immerse yourself in the vibrant celebration.
Players on all platforms will travel to Japan to pursue VILE, who have somehow managed to crash the country’s Cherry Blossom Festival and steal the sacred Shinboku tree. Gather clues, solve the mystery, and put a stop to VILE’s evil plans! Best of all, solving the case will reward players with a traditional Japanese happi coat to wear in the game!

PLUS—by popular demand—we’re bringing a legendary tune to the game! The iconic Carmen Sandiego Theme Song by Sean Altman and David Yazbek is now part of the in-game soundtrack. Deluxe Edition owners can find it in their collection, while Standard Edition players will hear it integrated into the game.
