September 17th, 2025, Haarlem – The ravens were an omen. Something is stirring below, and Strange Antiquities has opened its doors. Are you prepared for what awaits you? Though it might seem cozy at first, you must be wary of the relics you possess, and the people that frequent your shop…

🕯️Play now on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Nintendo Switch with a 10% launch discount!

You may be wondering what your role as an apprentice Thaumaturge entails. You must examine and identify the relics that cross your counter by using all of your senses – yes, including inner perception – the esoteric tomes left at your disposal, and your attention to detail.

Strange Antiquities is the standalone sequel to the indie hit title Strange Horticulture, considered one of the best detective games of the decade by PC Gamer. If you loved the last game, we humbly welcome you back to Undermere – expect even more intricacy and depth than its predecessor.

If not, do not fret, as it can be played on its own without prior knowledge of the dark arts. A quote from John and Rob Donkin, the duo behind the Strange series:

“We’re very excited for you to finally be able to settle into your role as apprentice Thaumaturge at Strange Antiquities! We have put a lot of love and attention to detail into this game, from the dark-but-cozy atmosphere and handcrafted occult artifacts, to the carefully designed puzzles and branching narrative. As the nights draw in and the rain beats down outside the window, we’d like to invite you to grab a blanket and a hot drink and put on your occult detective hat. Consult your reference materials on hermetic symbology and Thaumic gemstones, study your shelves full of items carefully, and most importantly, make sure Jupiter the cat is purring happily on the counter.”

Iceberg Interactive and Bad Viking couldn’t be more excited for your arrival in Undermere. Are you ready to experience firsthand the eerie beauty of Strange Antiquities?
