Bologna, Italy – October 22, 2025 | Bologna & Reykjavik-based Evil Licorice are pleased to announce that their new free download Retro Gadgets Playground is out now on PC (via Steam).
Retro Gadgets Playground is a standalone launcher for gadgets built by players in the hit game Retro Gadgets. With Playground, you can download, install, and run community-made gadgets as if they were standalone apps—no programming knowledge required, no need to own the main game!
While Evil Licorice are hard at work work on a story mode for Retro Gadgets and launch version 1.0, more information will need to be shared at a later date. But the teams are excited to see players go hands-on with some of the imaginative creations in Retro Playground.
