Kraków, Poland – Nov. 19, 2025 – Winter Survival, the unrelenting, story-driven survival game from developer DRAGO Entertainment, fends off the wilderness with its 1.0 release on PC via Steam today, including the final act to its harrowing story of one man’s will to endure against all odds in the unforgiving tundra.
Venture into the untamed mountains as Danny, an explorer separated from his hiking group just as a freak blizzard descends on the region. Scour the landscape for food, tools, and weapons, and use them to create makeshift shelters and fight off increasingly hostile wildlife. As the weather worsens, cling to Danny’s dwindling sanity as he wrestles with the nightmares that hint at grim events from the past.
As Winter Survival exits early access, DRAGO introduces a wide array of new content. Craft brand new armor and weapons, including a flintlock firearm, engage in moments of tranquility with a new fishing minigame, and prepare for completely reworked fights against ravenous wolves, a man-eating bear, and other vicious predators!
Take on new adventures in the fully customizable, sandbox-style Survival Mode, which allows for free exploration outside of the narrative. Battle for survival in ceaseless blizzard conditions in Cold Wave Mode, collecting as many gold bars as possible, and ranking against other explorers.
