Next update for Titan Quest II will introduce relics and socketable items

Munich, Germany / Vienna, Austria – November 26th, 2025: Every hero knows that feeling: you’ve found a shiny blade that looks great on you, matches your armor color perfectly, and gives a decent bonus to your favorite stats. Damage and attack speed are good, too. Nothing more to wish for, right? But still… the sword could be even more powerful, couldn’t it? A shame there’s nothing you can do—but wait! With its next Early Access update (coming sooner than you think!), Titan Quest II will introduce Relics and Charms.
Both of these new socketable items can be slotted into your weapons, armor, rings, and amulets, depending on what you find. Charms are fairly common and come from enemies in a way that makes perfect sense: skeletons drop bones, boars drop hides. Don’t expect a boar to hand over feathers. You’ll gather fragments, and each one will already give you a bonus. Combine three fragments of the same type, and an additional bonus will be applied. One Ichthian Fin, for example, increases your Cold Damage; combine three, and you’ll also gain increased Ailment Duration.
Relics work the same way but are much rarer and significantly more powerful. Three fragments of the Essence of Zeus’ Thunderbolt, for example, will not only increase your attack and cast speed and boost your lightning damage, but also add a chance to instantly kill non-boss creatures.
The upcoming update will introduce about 40 different Charms and Relics, but this is only the foundation—more and even better Charms and Relics will be added to the game over time.
