Shape of Dreams enables mod support and enhances late-game loop in Update 1.1 today

South Korea – December 11, 2025 – Following a massive launch in September, Lizard Smoothie is pushing out a special Shape of Dreams update inspired by the community’s active participation. Releasing today, the v1.1 update includes full mod support, a Hardcore Challenge mode, a new hidden boss encounter and extensive balance adjustments.

“As we reach the end of the year, we are publishing a huge update that takes player feedback and suggestions into consideration as a thank you for all the support we received at launch,” said Eunsop Shim, co-founder and CEO, Lizard Smoothie. “On top of the update, we have a festive seasonal event and a game discount coming later this month. We hope it brings a little more excitement to the holiday season.”

Shape of Dreams will host an Update Celebration Sale from Wednesday, Dec. 10 to Wednesday, Dec. 17, where new players can purchase the critically-acclaimed action roguelike for 30% off on Steam. Following the promotional sale, the title will also participate in the Steam Winter Sale from Thursday, Dec. 18, to Monday, Jan. 5.

In November, Lizard Smoothie took home the Best Developer Award and the Indie Game Award for Shape of Dreams at the 2025 Korea Game Awards. Shape of Dreams is also nominated in the fan-voted 2025 Steam Awards in the “Better With Friends” category. These accolades reflect the small development team’s vision to create a title that resonates with gamers worldwide.
